Best Nfl Bets This Week

The Seahawks vs. Bills game was straight fire, and opened at 51. That was too low, but even if you didn’t get on that, Buffalo made sure you were a winner if you correctly bet the Over.

I also loved Carolina to beat the spread (11.5), and they lost by two. Miami’s defense had been great, but I still trusted Arizona’s offense enough to hit the Over on a low 48 game total. Those three bets delivered, and if you went with those picks, you finished in the green.

More safe betting picks could be coming your way. Let’s hit the ground running with my week 10 NFL locks, as I detail why these are some of the best bets of the week.

This spread feels a bit absurd. Green Bay’s offense is fantastic, the Jaguars are clearly tanking, and the Packers are at home. All of that favors into the green and gold being massive two-score favorites.

It’s still too thick of a spread.

The big reason to like Jacksonville here is that they have a quality running back in James Robinson, who in theory could slice up a weak Green Bay run defense. The Packers picked it up a bit on Thursday last week, but on the year have been gashed by running backs.

Dalvin Cook abused them two weeks ago in an upset win at Lambeau Field, so we know this Packers team is far from invincible.

Jacksonville’s rookie quarterback Jake Luton was up to the challenge of taking on Houston last week, and very nearly forced overtime.

I like the Packers to get the win here, but there’s always the chance they overlook this game and play down to Jacksonville’s level. The Jaguars might be tanking so they can draft Trevor Lawrence (on purposes or otherwise), but they also have nothing to lose here.

Historically, it’s tough to cover big spreads like this, too. I think Green Bay wins, but I think the Jags have enough offensive ability to keep this within two full touchdowns.

Philadelphia Eagles to Win (-180)

The New York Giants have won two games this year. Both have come against the Washington Football Team. Their second came in week nine, and they needed Kyle Allen to exit the game with an ugly injury to finish the job.

Maybe New York wins the game, anyways, but sweeping Washington for your only two wins isn’t the greatest feather to put in your cap.

To be fair, the G-Men have been a bit better than expected on defense in 2020. They also played the Philadelphia Eagles very well in a loss a few weeks ago.

But this is a game we should fully expect the Giants to revert to their losing ways, and a more talented Eagles team rises up to put a stranglehold on the NFC East division.

These teams aren’t separated by much in the win column, but Philly is finally getting healthy. Thanks to a bye week that allowed them to rest up further, the offense should be getting back star running back Miles Sanders.

Dallas Goedart and Jalen Raegor returned in their last game, too, so it’s not silly to suggest we could start seeing a very different Philly squad going forward. In a good way, to be clear.

The Eagles are the better team, they need this win to keep themselves in first place, and they’re expected to win. Despite all of that, we get them at a perfectly reasonable -180 moneyline.

That price was -155 when I broke down the early week 10 NFL betting lines, of course, so feel free to hunt around for better odds if you can get it.

Normally I wouldn’t jump at a game total this egregiously priced, but this is a game dealing with the Seattle Seahawks. Their defense is so bad, that we absolutely have to at least consider this as one of the top week 10 NFL locks.

Seriously, who have the Seahawks not given up a ton of points to in 2020? Despite bringing in would-be stellar additions to the roster like Jamal Adams and Caros Dunlap, this unit remains absolutely horrible.

Buffalo dropping 44 on them last week was a new low, to be sure.

Seattle has been giving up yardage and points to everyone, even when Russell Wilson isn’t turning the ball over four times out of nowhere, though. The Seahawks have allowed at least 23 points in every single game this year, and I tend to doubt they’ll come into L.A. and shut a quality Rams team down.

Especially not when there is so much riding on this tense NFC West clash. Just look at the standings in the division.

    NFC West standings:
    Seahawks 6-2
    Cardinals 5-3
    Rams 5-3
    49ers 4-5

Jared Goff and the Rams have the weapons to take advantage of this matchup, Seattle’s offense is capable of hanging 30+ points on anyone at any given time, and this is a game both sides will want/need.

We’re getting a shootout, one way or another, and the Over is the bet here. Just do yourself a favor and shop around before placing your bet, just in case some NFL betting sites offer a slightly better price.

Summary

While I love these bets for my week 10 NFL locks, be sure to keep in mind that the reliability of any wager is completely subjective.

Obviously fans of the Packers and Giants might disagree with me here, and your stance on certain lines could be different, as well.

That said, +14 is very steep. Jacksonville showed life last week, and it’s really not that bad of a matchup for the Jaguars. Philly looks like an easy call, too, while we could get a lot of points in this potentially epic clash between the Seahawks and Rams.

Last week I handed out three of my safest NFL picks, but this week I’m pulling it back to my favorite three NFL locks for week 10. Hopefully they serve you well.
